Haruomi Hosono / Tadanori Yokoo, Cochin Moon (King Records, 1978)

 Haruomi began with the psychedelic rock band Apryl Fool, who recorded a self-titled album in 1969, As a result, along with some members of Apryl Fool, he formed the folk-rock group Happy End, a music project called exotic Tin Pan Alley and, with the keyboardist Shuka Nishihara, released a record called "Cochin Moon", born after experience in India Hosono, who was fascinated by the traditional music of the place.

In 1978, he formed the Yellow Magic Orchestra drummer Yukihiro Takahashi and keyboardist Ryuichi Sakamoto.
